Job Description - Food Service

Tasks and Responsibilities

- Prepare food neatly, accurately and in a timely way.

- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain it to guests accurately.

- Immediately greet guests and help them in a cheerful manner while preparing their order.

- Check products in sandwich unit, warmer and/or pizza unit and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.

- Clean all sections of the food service area thoroughly and consistently. This includes the kitchen, service area house, dining area, fountain area/counters etc.

- Operate computerized Point of Sale system.

- Understand and adhere to all quality standards, formulas and procedures.

- Adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards while preparing, cooking and serving food.

- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.

- Complete light paperwork duties as assigned.

Requirements (Essential functions necessary to do the job)

- Some high school or equivalent education.

- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions in English.

- Capable of standing, bending and walking the entire shift.

- Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
